One Life To Love by 33 Miles

"You only get just one time around
You only get one shot at this
One chance,To find out
The one thing that you don't wanna miss
One day when its all said and done
I hope you see that it was enough
This one ride
One try
One life
To Love"

I love the chorus to this song by the group '33 Miles'. It speaks to me even more after the message I heard yesterday from Rich Nathan at the Vineyard Church of Columbus. The message was about how we handle death and dying. Rich told us 'what would you do if you had 10 minutes left to live' and recounted several stories from loved ones who were left messages during 9/11. They all knew their time was short on this earth. Not one message was about anything material or being 'politically correct'. They all centered around the common theme of 'I love you' and 'tell the kids I love them' and 'I miss you' - things that matter most. And Rich said to do something now - like tell someone you love them, forgive them, are praying for them.

Call. Write. Email. Go.

Don't waste any more time - like Nike says 'just do it'.
