Who Is This King Of Glory ?



"Who is this King of glory that pursues me with His love
And haunts me with each hearing of His softly spoken words
My conscience, a reminder of forgiveness that I need
Who is this King of glory who offers it to me
Who is this King of angels, O blessed Prince of Peace
Revealing things of Heaven and all it's mysteries
My spirit's ever longing for His grace in which to stand
Who is this King of glory, Son of God and song of man
His name is Jesus, precious Jesus
The Lord Almighty, the King of my heart

Answers To Life's Questions

This was taken from an original post from Facebook Notes on May 17, 2011. I pray that it blesses you. 








People have said things about me Lord..........

 

"Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us." Romans 8:34

 

I've got so much on my plate Lord Jesus...............

 

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27

 

Lord Jesus seems there's a laundry list of things that we need...........

 

"And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?

 

“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs.  Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." Matthew 6:30-33

 

 You know I've worked hard and have applied for hundred's of jobs Jesus...........

 

"But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.” " John 5:17

 

and Jesus  have some major prayer concerns that will take nothing short of miracles to be answered...

 

"The disciples were amazed when they saw this and asked, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”  Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it." Matthew 21:20-22

 

There is lot going on Lord Jesus ....you still love me.....right ?

 

"Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep. No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.

 "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8: 35-39

 I'm so thankful for my beautiful wife, awesome children, and awesome friends....may these 'answers to life's questions' encourage you as you seek the Lord Jesus daily....

Happy New Years 2022 Thoughts

Wishing all my friends a safe, healthy, and blessed New Years 2022 !

Use and practice these words more often in 2022: love, joy, peace, encouragement, gentleness, patience, kindness.

Pray often.

Worship wherever you are.

Read God's word.

Be a friend.

Enjoy family.

Encourage, support, and love your children.

Take care of the temple that God has given you.

Tell your spouse, children, and family that you love them. Directly as in 'I love you and thank God for you being in my life'.

Set attainable and realistic goals for yourself.

2021 Highlights.

We moved into our new house in March and can't thank God enough for blessing us with this opportunity.

We enjoyed spending a lot of time with Ellie (and her parents) this year and look forward to much more in 2022 !

We said goodbye to our four legged daughter Diogy in May and miss her greatly.

We enjoyed hosting Christmas Eve brunch at our house and had a excellent time with Val's family.

I can't thank God enough for my Valerie. Day in and day out her love for me blows me away. God tells me the way I can thank Him is to be a blessing to her everyday - on the good days when it's easy and especially on the bad days when it's not so easy. Val tells me that 'we make a good team'. So very true ! We truly compliment one another. Can't wait to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary!

I leave you with these scriptures for 2022. Pray they will help you praise God, give you God's peace, and be a blessing to you !

“ ‘ “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” ’ (Numbers 6:24-26 NIV)

Bill's Testimony


Testimony I posted two years ago to Facebook. I pray it blesses you.

"After the events of today I thought I'd share my testimony. My first marriage failed as a result of my sin. I repented of my sin and turned towards Christ. Since then this is what has happened in my life: After 3 years and 900 job applications I found employment. Three years after that I am with one of the top places to work in IT in the United States. I also dated for three years without success. Then came Valerie Gei...s Horosz. the blessing of a lifetime. I have a restored relationship with all of my children. Coincidence ? No. Repenting and living the life God wants yes. Adultery is sin. Murder is sin. Stealing is sin. Homosexuality is sin. The Bible is clear that if you do not turn away or repent from your sin you will not be saved. That is why on a daily basis I ask for forgiveness, grace, and mercy from the only one who can give it to me - Jesus Christ."

No New Year's Resolution For 2017

No New Year's Resolution for me for 2017. 

What this year has taught me is to laugh more, love more, and enjoy my family everyday. It comes naturally. And in order to laugh, love, and enjoy for a long time I'm going to get the exercise I need and eat food that is healthy, not sweat the small stuff, and worship the Lord.

Five Years Ago


Five years ago today I wrapped gifts for the kids and was getting ready to go to Christmas Eve Service at The Vineyard Columbus at 3:00 PM followed by a friend asking me to her church at 7:00 PM. Will, Peter, and Victoria were going to stay overnight with their mom and come over Christmas afternoon. This gave me a lot of time to reflect. I had driven down to Memphis a couple weeks earlier to meet someone who in short order crushed me. I had no significant other in my life. I had been looking with no success for over 2 years but still didn't have a job. After I got back from the second service, I got on my hands and knees in the middle of my apartment and prayed. Not for a Christmas miracle but for someone who loved me. God told me right then and there to get off all the other dating websites except for Christian Mingle.
And in short order in a few weeks I met the most beautiful woman in the world who became my bride 15 days latter. Not long after that I landed my first job in almost three years. God had told me all along that a relationship and job were going to go hand in hand. And I had prayed pretty specifically fro what I was looking for in a spouse. Well God ripped that up and gave me a lifetime more than I could have ever asked for with my Valerie Geis Horosz. Don't ever give up on God. Don't ever stop praying. I give praise, honor and glory to Jesus Christ. "With God All Things Are Possible".

The Annoucement



“It’s been a long time coming. I could hardly contain myself. I’ve been bursting at the seams to share the news that I am a father! I could not be more proud of my healthy son. And I am going to make sure to announce this. I am not going to post this because I know it would fall on deaf ears and blind eyes. I’ve considered the options. First I chose some reliable messengers to share this news. Second, I made it clear where he was – this was part of what the messengers shared. Third, being my child and my family were in need of money to take care of expenses, I sent out some additional messengers. The messengers had contacted three very prominent and wealthy men who came from a very far distance and gave us gifts to help take care of the expenses.  If have been contacted by one of the messengers, please don’t hesitate to visit us. I know that my son will do great things.”

“2 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to their own town to register.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
    and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”


15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”

16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

21 On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise the child, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he was conceived.
